In this picture I tried to capture the details of the butterfly wings. I attempted to show the lines and unique marks that made up the wings. Also, on the butterfly body I tried to make it look as realistic as I could by drawing the fur. To make it look more finished I need to put a lot more in the background and give it more composition. A cast shadow will definately make it look more finished along with adding more value by makimg some lines darker than others.

Vanashing Point
where the picture fades away
The picture above are the three types of perspective.
This is a unfinshed drawing of one perspective hallway. The vanashing point is located in the doors at the end of the hallway. What I could do to finish this drawing is to add more value and a little more detail.

In this artwork, I used the secondary color purple and the primary color blue. I should have burnished it more and make the edges of the ball fade into the color of the ball more. I made the cast shadow brown but I should have added more blue into it to make it look more like a real cast shadow.
A project my class did was character remixing. This is not my final but the basic idea of it. I used color pencils and made the colors look vibrant on my final that I am currently working on and almost finished with.
These are two more examples of character remix.
This is my final of a feather. I learned by using value I can make the feather look more realistic. Adding shadows and casting shadows and highlights make the finished artwork look more 3D and not 2D. I also added the book to add more composition so the feather wouldn't be just sitting there and so the finished drawing wouldn't look so dull and boring.
This is my final for the character remix project. I used a picture of Fionna and Marshall Lee, two characters from a TV show called Adventure Time, but changed the characters to make them look more punk-like. I added piercings and tattoos along with their clothing too. Another thing I changed was their hair colors. Fionna's hair color was originally blonde but I changed it to black and Marshall Lee's had solid black hair but I changed it to be black at the roots and fade into blonde tips.
I used color pencils to color my final drawing.

This is my final for the 2 in 1 project. We had to take two objects or things and mix them together. I took a cat and a bat and fused them. I first had drawn a cat and then added bat wings. Also, in the background I added city buildings to make it look as if the bat-cat was sitting on top of one of them. I didn't color it to due to the fact that it wold be too dark but I did add shading to the corners of the buildings and a little to the bat-cat to give it some value.
Lastly, my class had to take a subject and create something related to a subject. For example (not what I had done) you could take a seen from history and use different materials when making it or changing the seen to look a little different. What I did was use Play-do to make my characters and did a stop motion film. My story is about three characters (one girl and two boys) and the struggle between evil and good. The blue guy represents light, or good, and the character I made out of black Play-do is represented as evil. The girl, the red character, struggles through trying to stay good.
